Paul found this article about the talibee of Senegal:

During Ramadan, the talibees go house to house asking for food and money while the family is breaking fast or eating dinner. There is a small talibee, who looks not more than 2 years old. An older talibee holds his hand and leads him. When asked, he insists that he is five years old. Mbido jogi duubi joyi. Our family is outraged. This little boy can hardly speak Pulaar.

Love your posts, as always. Many kudos for keeping Ramadan fast. I did it just for two days, and that was more than I could handle. Thank you for sharing these stories with us. –Sonal
